Earlier, several media portals had reported that Suniel Shetty was “seriously injured” in his ribs while filming an intense fight sequence for Hunter Season 2.

Bollywood star Suniel Shetty on Thursday dismissed reports that he suffered a “minor injury” on the sets of an upcoming web series, dismissing reports that he suffered a serious injury. In an ex-post, the 63-year-old actor also assured fans that he is getting ready to resume shooting for the project. Suniel Shetty suffers minor injury on the sets of Hunter Season 2

According to the media, he got injured during the shooting of Hunter Season 2 in Mumbai.

“Minor injury, nothing serious! I’m absolutely fine and ready for the next shot. Grateful for everyone’s love and care. #Onset,” Shetty wrote on the microblogging site.

Earlier, several media portals had reported that Shetty’s ribs were “severely injured” while filming an intense fight scene for Hunter. It was also widely reported that doctors were sent to the scene with an X-ray machine to assess the actor’s condition.

Shetty, the popular action star of the 1990s and 2000s with films like Mohra, Krishna, Border, Hera Pheri, Dhadkan and Main Hoon Na, will next be seen in Welcome to the Jungle and season 2 of his Amazon miniTV action series Hunter.
