Mumbai Deol brothers, who participated in ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, had a lot of fun in the show. Sunny Deol said in the show that ever since his son Karan married his girlfriend Drisha Acharya, the fortunes of his family have changed. Sunny shared on ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, “23 years passed and a lot of things were happening… We were trying, I was not doing just one thing, I was doing many things, Bobby and Papa was also doing it. But, since my son got married and a daughter came home, I don’t know, everything changed.”
Sunny Deol said that his father has been a part of the industry since the 1960s and he has also been in the headlines. However, after his daughter came home, many things changed with ‘Gadar 2’, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ and ‘Animal’. He said, “We saw many things coming and going. We all get a lot of love from people, but things were not happening. But this time suddenly our daughter came, and then ‘Gadar 2’ came. Before that, father’s film was released.”
Sunny’s son Karan married Drisha Acharya in June 2023. Sunny Deol also spoke openly about the response to ‘Gadar 2’, the sequel to the 2001 blockbuster ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’. Sunny said, “When my film came, I did not know what was happening because inside I was crying and laughing. I couldn’t believe it, and then when ‘Animal’ came and it got a tremendous response.”

Hearing Sunny’s words, his brother Bobby Deol had tears in his eyes. Sunny further said, “This is your love. We didn’t expect this kind of response from the industry and when I was doing the film, people said who will watch it? But, you told them you wanted to see.”

Kapil Sharma also asked Sunny if she felt pressure while debuting with ‘Betaab’ in 1983, knowing that her father Dharmendra was a big star. Sunny recalled, “I had never thought of this. I just knew that I wanted to be an actor and started working on it.”
