He said, “I can see how it can be disappointing when you are trying your best to eat the right foods and still do not get the results you want. There are 5 ways to get those extra calories out of your diet here.”
1. Be aware of salad topping
Regi Mechana said, “Look at the additional items going into a salad: You can easily ruin the salad by adding nuts, cheese, cranberries and covering it in dressing. Put the dressing on the side and cut those extra back in that salad.”
2. Control part size
He said, “Look at your part: Your share size can destroy all your progress. Remember that healthy food also contains calories. A tip 1/2 is to follow when you go out to eat. Eat only 1/2 that they give you. Bring the rest of the house and eat it tomorrow.”
3. Make smart swaps
In a restaurant, leave the part of the rice and swap in the vegies, Regi said.
4. Strategic
“If you want to eat outside, try to do things differently. Order a salad as your appetizer and eat your appetizer as your entry. This is how you can avoid that overcised entry,” Regi said.
5. Share the dessert
He said, “If you are in a restaurant and really want sweets, then you can share it with someone. The biggest tech is that no matter what you order, you still have to manage how much you have. Always have a way to cut or adjust the quantity. You can do it!”
Stay committed, and you will reach your goals!
