Reva. In the schools of Rewa district, children will not be allowed to wear any costumes in the schools without the permission of the parents. During Christmas in the month of December, children are made Santa Claus in schools. Parents have protested many times against the creation of Santa Claus.

Keeping this in view, the State Child Protection Commission has issued orders to the Education Department and Collectors. It has been said in the order that for dressing up as Santa Claus or any other costume, it will be necessary for the parents to take written permission. This order has been issued by Madhya Pradesh Child Protection Commission on 12 December 2024.

The Child Commission has taken this decision because in the last few years, such complaints were lodged by parents on Christmas. In which it was said that he was being forced by the school to buy a Santa dress. Therefore, this time before Christmas, the Children’s Commission has issued orders to all the schools of the district through the Education Department.

If children are made Santa in schools without the written permission of the parents, then if a complaint is received, the school principal will be held responsible and strict action will be taken against the school management.

Do not wear costumes without permission
District Education Officer Sudama Lal Gupta said, on the orders of the Children’s Commission, instructions have been given to all the educational institutions of the district. They should not wear any costume without the permission of their parents. Minority educational institutions have also welcomed this order.
