New Delhi. State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a warning to all its customers. The government bank has said that scammers can make customers their victims by luring them with fraudulent SBI reward points. The bank said that customers are receiving fraudulent messages on their mobile phones to redeem SBI reward points. This message contains a link on clicking which an APK file gets downloaded on the customer’s mobile.
The bank has forbidden opening any such link and downloading the file. SBI issues reward points under its customer loyalty program. These points are given on SBI debit or credit card transactions. The value of one reward point is 25 paise.
