From dancer pose to high lunges, here are five yoga postures that can help increase leg strength and mobility.

Foot strength is extremely important. The feet support us and help us move. The feet support the entire body throughout the day. It is important to work on improving foot muscle strength for better flexibility and mobility. Morning is the best time to start the day with a workout routine. Starting the day in a yoga state of mind helps to stay refreshed and healthy, and also be more productive. Here are five yoga asanas that can help improve foot strength and flexibility.

chair posture:

The chair pose can be done by standing straight and then stretching the hands upwards. Then slowly bend the knees in such a way that the body looks like being placed on a chair. We should remain in this position for some time to work on the leg muscles.

Tree pose:

This yoga asana helps to improve balance and mobility. To do this, we have to stand on our feet and then place one foot near the inner thigh of the other leg. Then balance the body on one leg and then stretch the hands upwards in the posture of namaskar.

High Lunge:

This yoga asana is performed by coming into a lunge position, spreading the legs in both directions, keeping the hands upwards in namaskar position and bending the back slightly.

Dancer Pose:

Also known as Natarajasana, this dancer pose is an intermediate level yoga asana. To do this, we should stand on one leg and then bend the other leg and hold it from behind with both hands.

Adho Mukho Svanasana:

Also known as Adhomukha Svanasana, this yoga posture helps to stretch and strengthen the thigh muscles and calves and improve the overall balance of the body. The knees and ankles are also stretched.
