The number of vacancies has almost doubled now as the excitement around the announcement of SSC GD Result 2024 increases. According to a latest notification released by SSC, the number of vacancies has been revised from 26,146 to 46617.
It is noteworthy that the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted the recruitment examination for Constable (General Duty) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF and Rifleman (GD) posts in Assam Rifles in February-March this year. The constable GD exam was conducted in two phases. In the first phase, the commission conducted the exam between February 20 and March 7. However, some candidates complained of technical glitches during the exam, for which the exam was conducted again on March 30.
