The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) ended the online application process for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) level examination, 2024 on May 7. Speaking to Local18, Chandan Kumar, teacher at Elegant IAS Academy, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, said that the syllabus of SSC CHSL, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), and Staff Selection Commission – Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL) is the same. , Therefore, candidates do not need to prepare for each vacancy separately. Also, the same preparation works for all three recruitments.

Sharing details on the exam, Chandan Kumar said that in the Tier I exam, all questions will be of two marks. He told that 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Meanwhile, Tier II exam will test the candidates on Mathematics, English, Reasoning, General Knowledge (GK) and typing speed.

Emphasizing how necessary prior preparation is, teacher Chandan Kumar said that two months of studying is inadequate for an exam like SSC. If a candidate has been preparing for this exam for the last one year then his/her syllabus must have been completed by now.

Kumar said that students who have been studying for a long time should start revision. To accomplish this, students must answer one question from each category from each chapter so that they remember the entire chapter. Besides this, candidates should also focus on improving their computer typing speed, he stressed.
