This weekend, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal will grace The Kapil Sharma Show along with Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha for a family special episode.
In May this year, Sonakshi Sinha appeared on Kapil Sharma’s comedy show to promote her web series Constitution: Diamond MarketThe actor was also joined by his co-stars Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Sharmin Sehgal. During this episode, Kapil told Sonakshi that his fellow Bollywood divas Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani are now married. Hearing this, Sonakshi claimed that Kapil is rubbing salt on her wounds because he knows how eager she is to get married. A month later, Sonakshi’s wish was fulfilled when she married Zaheer Iqbal. Well, now she is returning to Kapil’s show this time with her husband.
In the trailer of the upcoming episode, Sonakshi introduces Zaheer to Kapil. He claims that whoever wants to get married should come to Kapil’s show and call him ‘bhaiya’. Pointing towards Zaheer, Sonakshi then tells Kapil, “Bhaiya, meet my Saiya.” Well, things get even more fun when Sonakshi’s superstar father Shatrughan Sinha joins her mother Poonam Sinha. This is the first time that the entire Sinha family and their new son-in-law have appeared together on national television. At the end of this trailer, Shatrughan describes himself as an ‘innocent, decent man’. But Poonam surprises everyone when she replies, “Ask me.”
In another funny bit, Shatrughan revealed how Dharmendra once told him to always be ‘a ladies’ man at a time’. Well, fans can’t keep calm and are now expressing their excitement in the comments section below. For example, one social media user gushed, “They are so happy to be on the show! ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” while another Sonakshi-Zaheer fan claimed, “This episode is a slap to those who were saying that Shatrughan was not happy with Sonakshi and Zaheer’s marriage.”
