The police registered an FIR on the complaint of the woman hurriedly and started investigating the CCTV cameras. In the CCTV footage, an unknown woman child was seen and taken from autorickshaw. The police soon identified the auto and reached its driver. During interrogation, the auto driver told the police that he had left the unidentified woman near the toll gate on the Badarpur-Faridabad border with the child.

Three cases of police sleep one by one
During the investigation of the case, the police team came to know about another similar case. The case was on 31 July 2023. In this case, a three -year -old child was kidnapped from the ticket counter hall. In this case too, this woman was seen kidnapping the child and going through auto rickshaw. During interrogation of the auto-rickshaw driver, it was revealed that he had left the suspected woman near the toll gate on the Badarpur-Faridabad border with a kidnapped child.

The police was busy in resolving both these cases that then a third case came in front of them. The matter was on 21 January 2025. In this case, a woman had complained to the police about the kidnapping of a four -month -old child from New Delhi Railway Station Food Court Waiting Hall. In view of the sensitivity of the case, the railway unit of Delhi Police started to resolve the case with its full force.

A team was formed under the supervision of ACP Railway Sanjeev Chahar to investigate the case, in which SHO (NDRS) Inspector Vishwanath Paswan, Inspector Vijay Samaria, SI Deep Sharma, Mahila SI Vidya, ASI Ajit Singh, Bagicha Singh, Manoj, Santosh , Headconstable Hari Kishan, Gaurav Tomar, Sumit, Yogendra, Constable Shekhar, Amit, Gulshan, Women Constable Babita, Monica and Ritu were included.

Police searched footage of 700 CCTV cameras, and then…
The police team gathered more and more information related to the woman by scrutinizing more than 700 CCTVs. Subsequently, several locations were identified with the help of telecom data. After a long exercise, the police managed to reach the place where the woman who stolen the child lived with her husband. The police have arrested this woman and her husband.
