Sydney Sweeney is staying tight-lipped about the upcoming season of Euphoria. In a recent conversation with the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the actor didn’t reveal much about the hit HBO show, but did talk about his love for the character of Cassie Howard and how the cast feels like family to him. During the conversation, when Sydney was asked about Season 3 of Euphoria, she was hesitant to reveal anything, saying, “Honestly, it’s as scary as talking about Marvel. I said one thing, and It went everywhere.” The actress recently teased a return to the hit HBO show for a third season, meaning she’ll be keeping busy for quite some time in the future, following the back-to-back releases of Any Bird But You, Madame Web, and Immaculate. . ,

Still, Sydney talked about her character Cassie Howard and said, “There are so many reasons that make her special. This is my longest production till date. Each season takes approximately 8–10 months to film. So I’m getting a chance to be with this group of people for a long time that I’m used to and build relationships and be almost like a family in a way… which is how I like it. Playing him is a dream and as an actor, I am very lucky to have got a character like him at such a young age.”
Sydney earned an Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category for Euphoria Season 2. Directed by Sam Levinson, it stars Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demme, and Jacob Elordi. The show first premiered in 2019 to widespread acclaim, and then returned for a second season in 2022.
