Shilpa Shetty’s breakfast is quite simple
“My day starts with aloe vera juice. It’s great for your immune system; It is very good for your skin. Then I had porridge and tea. I avoid white sugar as far as possible and have only brown sugar. My philosophy is to replace everything white with brown – whether it’s brown bread, brown rice or brown sugar. I don’t eat steamed or boiled food. I eat normal food but eat food cooked in healthy vegetable oil or olive oil,” Shilpa Shetty told the magazine in 2008.
What’s for lunch and dinner?
The actor’s daily diet is balanced and nutritious, and includes a variety of ‘very simple’ foods. She further added, “For lunch, I eat dal rice [brown] Or chapatti and chicken curry and a vegetable. If I feel hungry in the evening, I have two eggs and a brown toast with tea and at night, I try to eat early. I eat salad, soup and a chicken dish. My diet is very simple. It is easy to follow.”
Shilpa also talked about her fitness and said that yoga is ‘a way of life’ for her. But that’s not all she does. The actress said that she does weight training and alternates it with yoga.
