The MSc is inviting applications from the candidates interested for the MSc Health Economics and Decision Modeling Course starting in September 2025, Britain’s Shefield University.
About the course:
Through this course, students can develop the theoretical and analytical skills required for career in the growing field of health economics. The purpose of the course is to help students know how to model, analyze and evaluate the health care interventions so that they can inform public health decisions, inform the University of Sheffield University.
The course is about evaluating the efficiency, cost-effectiveness and clinical consequences of healthcare resources-from new drugs and public health initiatives to clinical equipment and screening programs.

Students can study the concepts of economics that are important for detecting the process of understanding and economic evaluation of the healthcare sector, modeling the cost-effectiveness of healthcare interventions, and the process of health technology assessment.
The curriculum also includes medical statistics and evidence in the context of clinical trials and how mathematical modeling and simulation healthcare inform the decision-making, mentioning a press release.
Research methods are also training for students who perform MSc programs, which are a three -month research project based on models and healthcare problems they have studied.

eligibility criteria:
Applicants must have a three -year/ 4 bachelor’s degree holder with a minimum 60% from a recognized university in a relevant technical module or a medical degree.
Degree in the following subjects are accepted: Computer Science, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Management Science, Operations Research, Pharmacy, Physics, Statistics, System and Control Engineering.
Overall IELTS score 6.5 with minimum 6.0 in each component, or equivalent.

Scholarship Description:
Sheffield University provided 75 international postgraduate merit scholarships for 2025 entry. Each scholarship is a competitive award of £ 10,000 for the original tuition fee for the postgraduate taught program starting in September 2025. Scholarships are available to all new international students who meet eligibility criteria. The time limit for scholarship applications is on May 12, 2025 at 1 pm (UK time), informed the press release.
