According to PTI, actor Shahrukh Khan was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon due to heatstroke. After hearing the news, his wife Gauri Khan and friend Juhi Chawla along with her husband Jai Mehta reached the hospital in Ahmedabad. In a video shared by ANI on X (formerly Twitter), Gauri can be seen worried as she reaches the hospital and a security guard walking behind her.
She also shared a video, claiming that Juhi had gone to meet Shahrukh along with her husband Jai, writing, “Actress Juhi Chawla and her husband Jai Mehta leaving KD Hospital in Ahmedabad.” Further information is awaited and the family has not yet issued any official statement on this.
Shahrukh admitted to hospital
According to police, Shahrukh was admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday after suffering a heat stroke, PTI reported. He told that he was admitted to Multi-Speciality KD Hospital. Ahmedabad (Rural) Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat said, “Actor Shahrukh Khan was admitted to KD Hospital after suffering heat stroke.”
The actor was in Ahmedabad on Tuesday to attend his Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team’s Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The actor was accompanied by his daughter Suhana and son Abram who greeted fans and interacted with the cricketers after the match. The trio also celebrated after KKR defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the match. Suhana is celebrating her birthday today.

Recently speaking to Star Sports for King Khan Rules of Kite Club, Shahrukh said that last year he had three films released (Pathan, Jaawan and Danki), which meant he was working non-stop. He said that given that his roles required a lot from him physically, he decided to take a break and focus on his IPL cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) instead.
