Mahindra registers Scorpio X trademark in India.
The SUV was introduced in South Africa last year.

Mahindra Scorpio X: Mahindra has registered a new trademark for Scorpio named Scorpio The company is preparing to launch a new pick up model based on Scorpio N SUV. Its concept model was revealed last year. The Mahindra Global Pickup Concept was officially introduced in South Africa last year.
Based on the Scorpio N SUV, the production-ready version of this pick-up is scheduled to be launched in 2025. A test model of this pick up concept was also seen last year. However, it included the design elements and taillights of the Scorpio Classic.
The Mahindra global pickup, which is being called Scorpio X, may be powered by a new generation mHawk diesel engine. This engine will be mated to six-speed manual and automatic gearbox. Apart from this, a 4WD system will also be available on offer.
Officially, the car will launch in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, MENA countries and South American countries before launching in India in late 2026. We expect its price to be between Rs 12 lakh to Rs 22 lakh. It will compete with Toyota Hilux and Isuzu D-Max V-Cross.
