RRB Group D Recruitment: RRB CEN No. 08/2024 Recruitment registration starts today with 32,438 Group D posts.
Railway RRB Group D application correction window will open on 25th February.
RRB CEN No. 08/2024 Recruitment: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will start the recruitment registration for RRB CEN No. 08/2024 from today, January 23, 2025. This notification was released on January 21 for recruitment to various Level 1 posts under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. A total of 32,438 posts will be filled through the recruitment drive. The last date to apply is February 22, 2025. RRB Group D exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

This recruitment offers various posts like Assistant Bridge, Assistant C&W, Assistant Depot (Store), Assistant Loco Shed (Diesel), Track Maintainer, Cabin Man, Pointsman and others. Candidates should check the official notification for specific vacancy details for each post.
RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification: Candidates who have completed 10th class are eligible to apply for Group D posts.
ITI Diploma Requirements: ITI Diploma is no longer required for Group D applicants. Earlier, for technical posts, candidates had to pass 10th class and possess NCSC or ITI diploma from National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). Now candidates can apply even without these qualifications.

The age limit for the candidates is between 18 to 36 years as on January 1, 2025.
Additionally, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a one-time relaxation of 3 years in age has been given to those candidates who may have missed the previous recruitment opportunities.
RRB Group D Recruitment 2025 Physical Standards
Candidates must fulfill the following physical requirements for RRB Group D Recruitment. The details of male and female candidates are listed below:
Male Candidates:
- Lift 35 kg weight up to 100 meters in 2 minutes without dropping it.
- Run 1000 meters in 4 minutes 15 seconds in one attempt.
Female candidates:
- Lift 20 kg weight up to 100 meters in 2 minutes without dropping it.
- Run 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one attempt.
rrb group d application fee
For RRB Group D Recruitment 2025, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 500, which will be refunded after deducting bank charges after appearing for CBT.
However, candidates from PWBD, Women, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, SC, ST, Minority Community and EBC categories will have to pay only Rs 250, and this amount will be refunded after deducting bank charges.
