The Embassy of Romania is inviting applications from international students to pursue graduates, master and PhDs in Romania for academic year 2025-26 from international students from countries of the non-European Union.
According to a notification on the official website of the Ministry of Education, India, applicants can select their study programs in all fields, with the exception of therapy, dental and pharmacy.

Candidates can use the platform on the “Studynromania.gov.ro” via “Apply to MFA Scholarship” button or directly on the scholarship.
The last date to apply is March 12.
“The Government of India has no role in nomination/selection of candidates. Public notice is being published only for widespread spread of information objectives. The final selection of the candidates will be done by the donor country, ”the Ministry of Education clarified.

Who can apply?
To be eligible, the scholarship applicant must present a complete file and study document presented by recognized/recognized educational institutions in its countries. They should have good results and apply application submission methodology.
Scholarship
Bachelor’s degree: Bachelor’s degree programs are for graduates of high school or pre-university studies, who have obtained a backloret degree or equivalent. The program lasts for 3-6 years, which is based on expertise, and ends with graduation examination.
Master Degree: Master’s degree programs are for undergraduates, and run for 1 year, 1.5 years or 2 years and ending with dissert dissertation examination.
PhD: Doctoral programs are for graduate students or equivalent and run for 3-5 years, depending on the profile of the chosen faculty and ending with the presentation of PhD thesis. To recruit doctoral studies and receive scholarships, candidates should make a written agreement of doctorate tutors and passed the admission interview before submitting the application.
The language of study for graduation and master levels will only be Romanian.
Doctoral scholarship holders can choose to study in a foreign language in Romanian or in a foreign language prescribed by doctoral school.
For those candidates who do not speak Romanians, an early year for the study of Romanian language is provided before the study of the actual university.
