Redit ignored Urvashi by Daku Maharaj team
A Reddit user shared a clip with the Daaku Maharaj’s pre–relief event. In the video, Nandamuri Balakrishna can be presented for a picture with Shraddha Srinath and Pragya Jaiswal ignoring Urvashi. Later, during Balakrishna’s speech, Urvashi offered him a tissue box, but he again ignored him and continued to speak.
Most Reddit users were upset with the team’s behavior towards Urvashi, some sympathy for him. A comment read, “This is a valid derogatory. Whether you like it or not, he is your co-star and deserves recognition and respect. What kind of behavior is it? What is the high horse on Daku Maharaj’s artists?” Another comment, “What’s wrong with him? There is some decency and decoration to honor his colleague. I think half the fame was received from this terrible film from his Xinigam.”
A fan expressed concern, wrote, “I honestly feel bad for him.” Another Redit user commented, “It felt bad for Urvashi. She looked so cute and innocent, yet she ignored her without any reason.” Another couple, “right. I feel bad for him. The people of Telugu, when in a group, do so. They speak among themselves in their language. I had the first experience like him.”

Recently, when Netflix announced the release of Daku Maharaj’s OTT, the Manch shared a poster of the film, but Urvashi was absent from drawing the attention of the audience. However, Netflix later posted another campaigner image of Urvashi twice, making people fun on social media.
Why Urvashi had to face backlash
Despite the backlash that he and Balakrishna faced their dance moves in the Dabidi Dibi song, Urvashi continued to promote the film enthusiastically. He was criticized for not addressing the attack on Saif Ali Khan seriously, instead discussed the film’s box office performance during a campaign. Additionally, people slammed Rolex Watch for floning, which he got as a gift after the success of Daku Maharaj obtained from his parents. Film collected 90 crores in India and According to Sacnilk, 125.8 crores worldwide.
