Today, Sarabjit’s killers were murdered in Islampura, Amir Tanba, Lahore and actor Randeep Hooda, who played the role of ‘Sarabjit’, has given his reaction on the spot.
Giving his reaction on this incident, Randeep Hooda says that karma comes to the fore, even if it is done through unknown people. Let us tell you, unidentified gunmen on Sunday killed Amir Tanba, who was a key person behind the assassination of Sarabjit Singh in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat jail in 2013.
When Amir Tanba was standing outside his house in Islampura, Lahore, two unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire, seriously injuring him. The murder of Amir Tanba is being seen as a ‘revenge murder’ carried out by hired killers. Speaking to IANS, an emotional Randeep said that it is all about karma.
The actor says, ‘It was always a very sad feeling while doing the biopic on Sarabjit that when things were about to happen to bring him back to India and bring him back to his family, he was murdered in jail.’ Randeep also attended the funeral of Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur, who died in 2022.
The actor further said, ‘I wonder what Dalbir must have felt after hearing that the attacker was killed. I am sure he must have felt that he got justice after struggling for years to get it. He further said that he will soon call Sarabjit’s daughters and talk to them.
