Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education released the results of class 12th on Monday. Rajasthan Board has declared the results of all streams on its official website rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. Board administrator in Rajasthan Maheshchand Sharma announced the results in a press conference. Girls dominated in Arts, Science and Commerce faculties. The educational hub of the country, Kota, which is known for its many coaching centers for preparing for competitive exams like IIT and NEET, has also performed well. Sanjana Dabi has topped the 12th class board exam from Kota district.
Sanjana Dabi has scored an impressive 96.20 percent marks in the commerce stream. Sanjana is the daughter of a tailor, who works round the clock to earn her living. Sanjana did not let her family’s adverse financial circumstances affect her studies. While studying in DPS Public School, Prem Nagar, she used to study for 5 to 6 hours every day. Sanjana wants to prepare for UPSC and become an IAS officer.
While Sanjana cleared the Commerce section, Uma Gurjar from Kota scored 96.20% in Arts and became the district topper in this stream. Her struggle was one that is inspiring beyond words. Her father passed away 7 months ago and she had to prepare for the exam while mourning her deceased father. Uma Gurjar, a student of Star Public Senior Secondary School, also struggled with financial constraints. Things changed drastically, especially after the demise of her father, who was the sole earning member in the family.
Uma’s mother Foranti Bai worked as a domestic help in other’s homes to support the family. Uma has said that her school teachers, especially a teacher named Ravindra Sharma, became like a father to her and gave her a lot of support. Like Sanjana, she also wants to become an IAS officer by giving UPSC exam.
