Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) declared the results of class 10th examination on 29 May. Many students have made it to the merit list. Among them is Garima Trivedi, a student of Santpur village of Sirohi district. Garima has topped her district by scoring 98.33 percent marks. Garima’s father Manish Trivedi is an accountant by profession and mother Santosh Trivedi is a housewife. Manish has been on bed rest for a year due to an accident after falling from a bike about a year ago. The entire family was taking care of Manish and was hoping for his speedy recovery. Amidst these difficult circumstances, Garima’s academic achievement has made everyone happy.
In an exclusive conversation with Local 18, Garima said that she studies in Santpur Government Higher Secondary School. Due to the 10th board exams, she used to study regularly for 1-2 hours, and also spent time in school and tuition. During the exam time, she increased her study hours to 5-6 hours. When asked about her future prospects, she said that she wants to serve the country by joining the Indian Administrative Service. Her goal is to pass the 12th exam from the science stream.
Garima also gives tips to her junior students who are going to appear for class 10 exams in future. She said that they should leave no stone unturned in preparing for the exams and they should not panic or fear the exams. According to her, board exams are easy and candidates only need to work hard in studies to score good marks.
Garima’s grandmother said that she was very interested in studies and she used to study with full concentration every day. She said that no one in the family had to ask her to study. Garima credited her parents and teachers for her success. She has scored 100 out of 100 in Mathematics, 99 in Hindi and Social Science. She has also scored 98 out of 100 in English and Sanskrit. Garima has performed excellently by scoring 590 out of 600 marks in the board examination.
