New Delhi. In the month of August, big discounts are being given on many Honda cars. These cars are Elevate SUV, City sedan, City Hybrid (e:HEV) and Amaze compact sedan. The benefits being given this month include cash discounts, loyalty and exchange bonus and corporate schemes. Let us tell you that these benefits may vary in different cities.
According to a report by AutocarIndia, Honda is offering benefits of up to Rs 65,000 on the Elevate this month, depending on the variant. Note that the SUV was updated in April with additional safety technology, including six airbags, 3-point ELR seat belts and seat belt reminders for all five seats as standard fitment. However, these benefits apply only to Elevate models manufactured before this update. The Elevate, a rival to the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, is priced between Rs 11.91 lakh and Rs 16.51 lakh.

Along with Elevate, additional safety features have also been included in Honda City. Benefits of up to Rs 88,000 are being given this month on unsold stock manufactured before the update, while benefits of up to Rs 68,000 are being given on the updated City. The City has a 121hp, 1.5-liter petrol engine with the option of a 6-speed manual transmission or CVT.
In the month of August, the Honda City Hybrid is being offered with a cash discount of up to Rs 78,000 and a 3-year free service package of Rs 20,000. Priced at Rs 19 lakh, the City Hybrid has no direct rivals in the market and comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine and two electric motors, all mated to an e-CVT gearbox. Their combined output is 126hp.
This month, the Honda Amaze is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 96,000 on the VX and Elite variants, up to Rs 76,000 on the S variant and up to Rs 66,000 on the entry-level E variant. The car, which rivals the Maruti Dzire and Hyundai Aura, is available with a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine with manual gearbox and CVT auto options. The current model will soon be replaced by an all-new Honda Amaze, which is expected to arrive during the festive season this year.
