Through this, taxes can be paid by the taxpayers through mobile in the QR code of the Municipal Corporation. The Municipal Corporation has made arrangements for QR codes to provide convenience to the taxpayers.

QR will be issued by Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation for 100% revenue collection and collection of taxes for the convenience of taxpayers in the financial year 2024-25. Through this, taxpayers can pay taxes online. In this regard, Deputy Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Mobeen Ali told Local 18 that the tax will soon be collected through QR by the revenue staff in all 51 wards under Municipal Corporation Rajnandgaon area. We have generated a QR by contacting the bank. Revenue department employees will soon be given training in this. This will be easy for the taxpayers and the process will also be transparent.

New initiative being started by Municipal Corporation
Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation will also provide the facility of online tax payment by visiting the taxpayers’ homes. Earlier the slip was given offline but now QR will be issued. After this, after making the payment in QR, a receipt will be given to the taxpayers, so that people can get the benefit of its facility, the facility of payment of taxes will be available through net banking, UPI, wallet, where this facility can be availed by scanning the QR code. Taxpayers will be able to avail the benefits.
