Speaking to Local 18, Bapu Tower Director Vinay Kumar said that Bapu Tower is a museum dedicated to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. Different phase of Bapu’s life is depicted through different multimedia. Saying multimedia means that it has been produced using films, slides, paintings, photos, videos and other mediums. It is a unique museum in the country. This is nowhere in the whole country. When the audience arrives here, he will get to know about the life of Mahatma Gandhi and can also feel his values.
Viewers will be able to watch the film on 360 degree display
Director Vinay Kumar said that a specialty of Bapu Tower is its outer copper layer, which weighs about 40 tons. Its height is about 101 feet. The construction of galleries is friendly for the audience. As soon as you enter the building, there is a 360 degree orientation hall where many interesting stories are presented. Viewers will be able to consider Mahatma Gandhi’s life journey digitally.
What is timing and ticket rate
Viewers above 12 years will have to take a ticket of 50 rupees to roam in Bapu Tower. A ticket rate of Rs 10 is fixed for children from 5 to 12 years. At the same time, there will be a provision of free entry for disabled persons and elderly above 70 years. In this museum, free arrangements have also been made for persons coming to visit the students of government and private schools, groups of more than 25 of institutions and offices. The booking counter will be open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30 am to 4 pm. The museum for the audience will be completely closed on Monday. There is a system of booking tickets in five slots per day. Director Vinay Kumar said that the audience will take at least two hours to visit the museum.
