Police said on Sunday that a case of sexual harassment has been registered against the pastor of a church in a village in Jalandhar district of Punjab.
In the complaint, a woman alleged that she and her parents were visiting the church since October 2017.
Pastor Bajinder Singh took his mobile number and started sending the message.
She claimed that she was afraid of her and could not reveal her to her parents.
Since 2022, Singh allegedly hugged allegedly in a cabin in the church on Sunday and touched it improperly, the complainant told the police.
Singh has a lot of social media, in which his content is often seen in YouTube shorts and Instagram reels. He has been supported by several celebrities for several months, including actors Chunky Pandey and Aditya Pancholi.
Police said a case has been registered against them under Section 354A (sexual harassment), 354D (stacking) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.
