Talker Research and Funjet Vacations conducted a survey of 2,000 Americans and found that Paris has slipped from the first place in the list of most romantic cities, while most American couples have chosen Maui, Hawaii as their first choice as a romantic gateway. However, while Maui got 34 percent votes in the voting, Paris got 33 percent.

Research has revealed that 69 percent of couples prefer places that are a little hidden destination and are a little smaller in size. While 45 percent of people prefer to visit smaller places than famous places because such places give a better chance to increase intimacy mood and connect with each other.
Not only this, people who vacationed together at such places found that they got more opportunities to show love to each other. At the same time, about 55 percent of the people found that walking together on the beach was a really romantic experience, while 53 percent of the couples believed that watching the sunset together while holding hands was a memorable and romantic moment.
