According to a senior official of Jaipur Airport, the operation of international flights from Terminal One with a capacity of about 1.5 million will be started from midnight of 27th October.
He told that the first flight to land in Terminal One will be of Etihad Airways. This flight coming from Abu Dhabi will land on October 27 at around 2.10 pm. Passengers will get these facilities in Terminal One
10 check-in counters have been prepared in Terminal One of Jaipur Airport for the convenience of passengers. Apart from this, 10 counters of Bureau of Immigration have been made in the departure area and 14 counters have been made in the arrival area. Adequate number of security counters have been installed to save passengers from long queues at pre-embarkation security check.
Apart from this, more than 100 personnel have been deployed for the security of Terminal One. These include CISF, private guards and parking staff. Apart from this, the F&B outlet of the terminal will also be started from October 27. Medical room, 24-hour ambulance and lounge facilities will also be available in the terminal.

The number of passengers is increasing so fast
According to a senior official, the number of passengers at Jaipur Airport is increasing at the rate of about 7 percent annually. In 2023, about 5.4 lakh passengers traveled by air from Terminal 2 of the airport. After the arrival of Terminal One, this increase in passengers can be better accommodated through two terminals.
He said that in recent times, connectivity from Jaipur Airport to new domestic and international routes has increased. Recently, while Ayodhya and Bikaner have been added to the domestic routes, Abu Dhabi and Kuala Lumpur have been added to Jaipur Airport as new destinations on the international routes.
