New Delhi. Dengue patients have started being found in Delhi since the beginning of May. If we compare with last year, till this time only 25 cases of dengue had been reported in the capital, but this year so far six times more cases have been reported, about 120 cases. At the same time, dengue has already created panic in many other states of the country. People are especially troubled by dengue in Uttarakhand. In such a situation, MCD has issued an alert regarding mosquito-borne diseases in Delhi this year. MCD has told people that if they are careless this time, they may have to suffer huge losses.
MCD releases reports related to dengue, malaria and chikungunya every week, but stopped releasing them last year. But, from the month of May this year itself, it has started releasing data related to dengue, chikungunya and malaria. If we talk about increase in cases, then dengue cases have increased.

Be careful regarding dengue in Delhi
Recently, MCD has issued strict instructions to the employees asking them to report daily as to how many houses have mosquito larvae detected, how many places have been fogged and how many places have insecticides been sprayed? Along with this, employees will now have to give daily data as to where they have gone. If you are careless, action will be taken this year.
At the same time, the opposition party BJP in MCD says that at present no measures have been initiated by MCD to prevent mosquitoes. Therefore there should be a meeting on this issue. Leader of Opposition in MCD alleged that the formation of Anti-Malaria Committee of Delhi Municipal Corporation has also been stopped. Who will decide the accountability of officers now?

Here MCD has claimed that dengue larvae have been found in more than 14 thousand houses in Delhi. According to MCD, notices are being sent to the houses and offices where larvae were found. In this regard, challans have been issued to more than 1200 citizens so far. For this, more than 5000 employees have been deployed across Delhi. Let us tell you that if mosquito larvae do not stop being found in your house, then cases will be registered under IPC section also. Now more challans will be issued instead of sending notices if mosquitoes are found breeding. Therefore, pay special attention to the cleanliness of the house, otherwise instead of Rs 500, a challan of Rs 5000 can be deducted.
