Sub-Inspector of Police (Armed): 253 Vacancies
Station Officer (Fire Service): 47 Vacancies
Assistant Jailer under Home Department, Government of Odisha: 24 Vacancies
Persons with disabilities are not eligible to apply for these posts. Female and Transgender candidates are eligible to apply for SI Police and Assistant Jailer posts only.
Applicants age should not be at least 21 years and not more than 25 years as on January 1, 2024.
There is relaxation of five years in the upper age limit for SC, ST, SEBC and women candidates.
Ex-Servicemen candidates will be given relaxation in the entire period of service. In a situation where a candidate is eligible for age relaxation under more than one category, the one which benefits him more will be applicable.
Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2025: General Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must be
- citizen of india
- be of good morals and character
- Be healthy and physically fit, free from any organic defect or physical infirmity
- Be able to speak, read and write Odia
- Passed ME School or Higher examination with Odia as a subject or passed HSC or equivalent examination with Odia as a medium in non-language subjects or Odia in ME School standard conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha. Passed the written examination.
- Do not survive more than one spouse
- Has not been convicted of any criminal offense.
There is no application or examination fee for Odisha Police C Recruitment.
