Udaipur. From July 1, you will start getting wheat from government ration at your home. The government will deliver ration to your home. The biggest benefit of this will be for the disabled and senior citizens. But before that, e-KYC of the ration card will have to be done.
The Rajasthan government will deliver ration wheat at home from July 1. 32 lakh people of Rajasthan will get the benefit of this in all three categories. Wheat will be delivered in 10 kg bags. The government is spending about Rs 34 crore on this scheme in Rajasthan. The dealer will be paid ₹ 50 for two ration cards.
Special discounts for senior citizens and disabled people
In this scheme started by the government, now people below 18 years and above 60 years i.e. senior citizens and disabled people had to go to the ration shop and stand in line. To avoid this, the government has started this scheme. It will be implemented on a large scale in Rajasthan. So that they can get ration items sitting at home.
Get KYC done first
It is necessary for the candidates taking advantage of ration material through ration card to get e-KYC done. For this, consumers have been given time till 30 June 2024. Biometric e-KYC of consumers associated with National Food Security Scheme will be done through POS machine at the ration dealer shop. If e-KYC is not done, ration material will be stopped. Currently, 35 kg of wheat is being given free to a family.
