Banka. People of rural areas of Banka are going to get a big relief. Now buses will run from every area which will come to the district headquarters i.e. Banka. The Transport Department has prepared a big plan for this. Subsidy is being given for purchasing buses. People are applying for this.

Now you will not have to face much trouble to travel from the village to the Banka district headquarters. Direct buses are being started from the village to the district headquarters. A total of 70 buses are to be purchased in the district under the Chief Minister Block Transport Scheme. For the purchase of these buses, people are being given a grant of five lakh rupees by the Transport Department. They have been asked to buy buses as soon as possible.

70 buses will run
District Transport Officer Premkant said that 70 buses are to be purchased under the Chief Minister Block Transport Scheme. 7 buses will be purchased in all the blocks except the district headquarters. Grant is to be given for this, for which online applications have been sought. So far a total of 91 people have applied. After checking the applications, 41 people have been selected. Work order has been issued to all the people for purchasing the bus. A grant of five lakh rupees will be given for the purchase of these buses. After purchasing the bus, permits will be issued to everyone.

Money will come directly in the account
The District Transport Officer said that 7 buses each are to be purchased from all places except Sadar block. Two scheduled castes, two extremely backward classes, one backward class, one minority and general category people will be given the benefit of the scheme. After purchasing the bus, the subsidy amount will be given to the beneficiary’s account. Along with this, the bus permit will also be issued. This scheme will provide employment to the youth and people coming to the district headquarters from various blocks will get a lot of convenience.

Distance of 35 Kms
There are many blocks which are 35 km away from the district headquarters. These include Katoria, Belhar, Panjwara, Dhoraiya, Shambhuganj etc. Running buses from these places will provide a lot of convenience to the common people.
