Can we expect a season 2?
Hierarchy is known to be a series that airs for a limited time on Netflix. However, with the show gaining so much popularity and viewership, fans of the show cannot stop themselves from speculating about season 2 of the K-drama. The ending of the show was satisfying as the characters completed the full cycle of their education and returned to the institute with a new perspective.
But the post-credits scene hints at a second season as it shows Hae-ra entering the classroom to find a student’s lifeless body soaked in blood. Later, Ri-an receives a horrifying message, and all students are informed about a recent death, this time within the campus. With a killer on the loose and mystery looming around the murder, the idea of a second season is not far-fetched.
“This show was really good bro, this series kept me hooked the whole time and I was totally glued to the screen! I really hope we get a season 2, I would love to see what happens next…no I need to see what happens next,” wrote a user on X.
Another user wrote, “That ending is so- like who is that new principal? Who is Jae Ye’s mom and why is she in hiding? And who died in the cut scene and why is Ryan involved I need a S2.”
A third user agreed, adding, “The door is open for #Hierarchy2.”
