The National Testing Agency, NTA has today released the final answer key of the NEET UG re-exam held on June 23. Candidates who appeared in the exam can download the answer key from the official website exams.nta.ac.in.
It is noteworthy that the NTA, which is facing a lot of criticism due to alleged irregularities, was scheduled to declare the results of NEET UG re-exam today on June 30. The re-exam was conducted for 1563 affected candidates on June 23.
As per the information provided earlier by NTA, out of a total of 1563 candidates, 813 candidates appeared in the NEET-UG re-exam.
This re-examination was conducted for the affected candidates who had lost time during the originally scheduled examination on 5th May.
The NTA had issued a statement saying, “Out of a total of 1563 candidates, only 52 per cent appeared for the re-examination on June 23. The total attendance was 813. At two Jajhar centres, the attendance was 58.09 per cent. Out of 494, 287 appeared for the re-examination.”

After the re-examination result, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is likely to start the counselling process.
As already reported, the agency has been facing criticism over alleged irregularities in the conduct of the NEET UG exam 2024. This eventually led to an uproar across the country, with the opposition demanding the scrapping of the testing agency. An unprecedented 67 candidates scored 720 out of 720 marks, which further fuelled concerns.

Meanwhile, candidates who appeared in the NEET UG re-exam can download the result with the following steps:
- Visit the official website: exam.nta.ac.in
- Click on NEET UG tab.
- On the home page, click on the link titled ‘FINAL ANSWER KEY FOR NEET (UG) – 2024 RE-EXAM HELD ON 23.06.2024’.
- The final answer key of NEET UG re-exam will be displayed on the screen.
- Download its printout and keep it with you for future reference.
