NEET UG Admission 2024: Medical Advisory Committee (MCC) on Thursday said that due to representations from various stakeholders, the competent authority has decided to reopen the choice filling. Neat and Round-I Counselling 2024 till 11:59 pm on August 22. Choice locking will start on August 22, 2024 at 8 pm.
The notification said, “In reference to the representations received from ESIC/OCI candidates/State Counselling Authorities it is notified that the competent authority has decided to re-open the choice filling for Round-I of UG Counselling 2024 from 04:00 PM on 22.08.2024 to 11:59 PM on 22.08.2024. Choice locking will start from 08:00 PM on 22.08.2024.”
Candidates who wish to change their options can log in to their account and exercise their options after unlocking them.
It is important to note that the MCC had to accomplish this task. Seat Allotment Process Applications were invited for Round 1 counselling for NEET UG 2024 today, August 22, and the result for the seat allotment process was expected to be released on Friday, August 23.
As per the notification, candidates who have been allotted seats have to report/join the respective colleges from August 24 to 29, 2024. Verification of candidates who joined after the first allotment is scheduled for August 30-31, 2024.
Earlier, candidates who qualified the NEET UG entrance exam 2024 had time till August 20, 2024, to register for the counselling process for MBBS, BDS, and BSc (Nursing) courses.
The Round 2 registration process will be conducted from September 4-5, 2024. The process of seat allotment and verification will be conducted from September 11-12, 2024. The results of the second round counselling process will be declared on September 13, 2024. Candidates allotted seats will be asked to report/join from September 14-20, 2024.
Earlier, candidates who qualified the NEET UG entrance exam 2024 had time to register for the counselling process MBBSBDS & B.Sc (Nursing) courses by August 20, 2024.
Counselling is going on for the allocation of around 1.10 lakh MBBS seats in around 710 medical colleges across the country. Apart from AYUSH and BDS, counselling is also being done for 1,000 seats. Nursing seats.
