Informing the medical candidates about the revised paper format for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET-UG) 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) issued a notification on Saturday stating that no one in the new paper format Section will not be B, as stated in the report. Giving more information, the NTA said that there would be a total of 180 mandatory questions, out of which 45-45 questions will be asked from Physics and Chemistry, while 90 questions will be from biology section.

An official notification of NTA states Hindustan Times Quoted, “All NEET (UG) -2025 candidates are informed that the duration of the question paper pattern and the exam will return to the pre -coved format, where there will be no section B no longer. Therefore, a total of 180 will be compulsory questions. (45 questions in each in physics and chemistry and 90 questions in biology) which will be resolved by candidates in 180 minutes, allowing any alternative questions and additional time taken due to covid.

Question paper pattern explained:

1) There will be a total of 180 compulsory questions

2) 45 questions in Physics and Chemistry Each

3) 90 questions are to be asked from biology

4) The provision of alternative questions, which was temporarily introduced during the Covid-19 epidemic, will no longer be available.

5) The total duration of the exam will be 180 minutes (3 hours)

‘Pen and Paper Mode’:

Earlier, the NTA had informed that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination 2025 (NEET UG will be held in 2025 pens and paper mode ((OMR-based) On the same day and a shift. NTA also mentioned that APAR ID was not mandatory for NEET UG 2025 registration.
