The National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to file an affidavit in the Supreme Court regarding the steps taken to identify candidates who benefited from the NEET-UG paper leak.
The Supreme Court on Monday asked the NTA to file a status report and affidavit with all the details by 5 pm on July 10.
The Supreme Court had also asked about the first incident of question paper leak, the manner in which the leaked question papers were disseminated and the time period between the leak incident and the examination held on May 5.
The Supreme Court said there was no doubt that the question paper in the NEET-UG exam held on May 5 was leaked.
A bench comprising Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud, Justice J.B. Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra said that it is beyond doubt that the sanctity of the examination has been compromised.
“It is an accepted fact that there is a leak and we are ascertaining the nature of the leak.”
The next hearing of the case will be on July 11.
