National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the release date of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET UG 2024 application correction window. As per the official notice, NEET UG 2024 application correction window will open on March 18. The last date for correction is March 20, 11:50 pm. Candidates can check the notice on the official website of NTA exam, exams.nta.ac.in.
According to the notice, no further correction will be allowed under any circumstances after the last date i.e. March 20. Any additional fee required for correction has to be paid by the concerned candidate using credit/debit card, net banking or UPI.
“The window for correction will be available till March 20, 2024 (till 11:50 pm). After this time limit, further corrections will not be allowed under any circumstances. Any additional fee required for correction has to be paid by the concerned candidate using credit/debit card, net banking or UPI. “Since this is a one-time facility given to the candidates to avoid any difficulty, candidates are advised to make the corrections very carefully, as no further chance for correction will be given to the candidates,” the notice read. Once the link is activated, candidates who have applied for the entrance exam can make corrections in their application form by logging into the official website Exams.nta.ac.in.
As per the notice, candidates can make corrections in all the fields except the email ID used at the time of registration, mobile number and Aadhaar re-authentication.
Meanwhile, the NEET UG 2024 registration window is still open as NTA has extended the registration process till March 16, 2024, 10.50 pm. It was originally scheduled to end on March 9 at 9 pm.
NEET UG 2024: How to make improvements in application
- Visit the official website of NTA NEET Registration: questions.nta.ac.in
- Click on NEET Candidate Login
- Enter NEET application number and password
- Click on the link saying “Correction in NEET (UG)-2024 Application”.
- Edit required fields.
- Cross-check the edited fields from the preview section
- Complete the process and submit the required fees.
- After clicking on ‘Final Submit’, enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number, email ID.
- Download the acknowledgment form for future reference.
NEET UG exam will be conducted on 5th May 2024 for 3 hours 20 minutes. The exam will be held between 2 pm to 5:20 pm.
