Revised date of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate or Postgraduate neet pg 2024The date of the NEET PG exam that was postponed last month is expected to be announced today i.e. July 1 or tomorrow. When released, candidates can check the revised date of NEET PG on the official website of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) at natboard.edu.in.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had said last week that the revised date of NEET PG 2024 would be announced by Monday or Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference, the minister said that the National Testing Agency (NTA) has already got new leadership and reforms have begun under the leadership of former ISRO chairman K Radhakrishnan. “We have made a new law to address this issue and the entire case has been handed over to the CBI,” he said.
Pradhan said, “The new dates for NEET-PG will be announced by Monday or Tuesday.”
Exams like NEET UG and UGC NET conducted by the agency are under scrutiny due to allegations of paper leaks and other irregularities.

On June 21, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) had postponed the exam as a “precautionary measure” in view of recent allegations on the credibility of competitive examinations in the country.
The Health Ministry said, “It regrets the inconvenience caused to the students. This decision has been taken in the best interest of the students and to maintain the sanctity of the examination process.”
At the end of that month, NBE chief Dr Abhijat Sheth Assured that the new exam dates will be announced very soon, and the Education Minister said that the announcement will be made on Monday or Tuesday.
