Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the most acclaimed actors in the Hindi film industry, having given stellar performances in many films like Gangs of Wasseypur, The Lunchbox, Badlapur and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. In a recent interview on Samdish’s YouTube channel Unfiltered, the actor opened up about his love for acting and said that he would never ask for work and would sell his stuff to finance his projects. What did Nawazuddin say?
Speaking on the channel, Nawazuddin said, “If a day comes when I don’t have any work, I don’t even have the strength to go and ask for it. I can’t come to you and say, ‘Give me work’.” I would sell my house, my shoes and everything and make a film on my own. I am very confident about this. I cannot do this in my life. Acting is important, but acting in films is not. I am Will do it on roads, trains or buses.
The actor further explained that asking for work is not disrespectful to him. But he will not ask for work. In the same interview, Nawazuddin also shared about the time when he had a stammering problem and how it created insecurity. He said, “When I’m really angry, the stuttering comes back. It went away in 2005 and 2006. Maybe it was because of insecurity, and then when I achieved some things in life, it went away. Went.”

Nawazuddin recently made his Telugu debut with Shailesh Kolanu’s Saindhava. In this film starring Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead role, he plays the role of a businessman named Vikas Malik, who crosses the line. The film released on 13 January.
