Will Navjot return full time to Kapil’s show?
When Navjot left The Kapil Sharma Show, it aired on Sony Entertainment Television and was produced by Salman Khan. He returned to the show in the Saturday episode, which now airs weekly on Netflix India as The Great Indian Kapil Show. Her place in the show was taken by Archana Puran Singh.
At the end of Saturday’s episode, in which Navjot appeared as a guest, he received a standing ovation from the live audience. Navjot called it the best day of his life. He then said that Kapil’s show has been carefully designed like a bouquet of flowers, with each member adding beauty to it. He described Archana as the newest flower in the bouquet. Kapil then invited Navjot to join season 3 of his show in a full-time capacity.
However, Navjot said that he would return to the show only on one condition that he got a chance to sit besides Archana who replaced him in the show. Archana was happy with this praise and thanked Navjot for it. The entire episode was full of chair tussle between Navjot and Archana.
What else happened in this episode?
Navjot Singh Sidhu appeared as a guest on this week’s episode along with his wife, Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu, fellow former cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his wife and actor Geeta Basra. This episode was promoted as a Punjab special, as the host, guests and everyone including Archana are from Punjab.
In the next episode, which will drop on Netflix India on November 23 at 8 pm, the guests will be veteran actor-turned-MP Shatrughan Sinha, his wife Poonam Sinha, their daughter Sonakshi Sinha and her newlywed husband Zaheer Iqbal.
