After India’s latent line, comedian Munwar Farooqui’s show appears to be under the Wasoli scanner. What happened here
A complaint has been filed against the stand-up comedian and Bigg Boss 17 winner Munwar Farooqui for his Gehotstar show Hafta Vasoli. Advocate Amita Sachdeva posted a copy of her complaint on X (formerly Twitter), claiming that a complaint has been filed to reduce religious sentiments and promote vulgarity. Legal complaint on Munwar Farooqui
The advocate posted screenshots of a mail demanding an FIR under BNS section 196, 299 and 353, as well as the IT Act and other relevant laws. The complaint alleged that the web show “insults many religions,” “violates cultural values,” and is responsible for “polluting young minds and society”.
The caption written by The Advocate wrote, “Complaint filed against Munwar Farooqui (@Munawar0018)! I have officially filed a complaint against the habitual criminal Munwar Farooqui, a stream on @Jiohotstar for his show “Hafa Isoli”, requested an FIR under BNS section 196, 299, and 353, Only for IT Act and other relevant classes: promoting rudeness, insulting many religions, violation of cultural values Doing, polluting young minds and society. The complaint has been sent via email and will be physically presented on Monday and speed-posting. If no action is taken, I will contact the court to ensure justice! ,
The Hindu Janajgruti Committee also demanded a ban on Hafta Vasoli. He wrote on X, “We demand an immediate ban on #haftavasoli broadcast on Jio Hotstar! The show uses @munawar foul language, which is unacceptable to see public. It immerses moral values. Comedians in India, Ranveer Allabia, aka Beerbiseps have been under scanner since the scanner, Samay Raina’s YouTube show asked a contestant from India, “Have you having sex for the rest of your life to your parents Watch, or you will join it forever? ” Several FIRs have been registered against the affected. Samay removed all the episodes of the show from YouTube.
