According to folklore, Lord Vishwakarma was building Kauleshwari Dham here, but as it was early in the morning, he left the construction work incomplete. Due to this, a unique erosion of rocks was formed. This place is also important from religious point of view, and on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, a fair is organized here, which is attended by thousands of people from Jharkhand and Bihar.
