Mercedes-Benz E-Class’s selected variants have become more expensive in India.
Mercedes-Benz has increased the price of e-class, one of its most popular cars in India. Immediately effective, select the variants of Mercedes-Benz e-Class is now expensive than before. Price hike has been applied to both petrol and diesel versions of luxury sedans.
Interestingly, the price hike for Mercedes-Benz E-Class occurs at a time, when several vehicle manufacturers in the market largely the Indian passenger vehicle market, including Maruti Suzuki, Kia, Tata Motors, etc., have announced the price increase for its respective offerings in the country, such as rising costs, inflations, high production costs.
Mercedes-Benz E-Class: Price
The Mercedes-Benz e-Class sedan is available in three different variants, which are-E200, E220D and 450 4Matic. The prices of E200 and E220D variants have increased Every 1 lakh. With an increase in this price, the E200 version is now available at the initial price of now 79.50 lakhs (East-Shoreroom), while the E220D variant is available at the initial price of now 82.50 Lakh (East-Shoreroom).

On the other hand, the pricing of the 450 4Matic version of the Mercedes-Benz e-Class remains unchanged. It is available at the initial price of 92.50 Lakh (East-Shorroom).
Mercedes-Benz E-Class: Paurtrain
Mercedes-Benz E-Class is available in India with two petrol and one diesel engine options. The diesel version is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that churns 194 bhp peak power and 440 Nm maximum torque.
On the petrol front, the luxury car gets a 2.0-liter motor and a 3.0-liter unit. The small 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine churns 201 bhp peak power and maximum torque of 320 Nm. On the other hand, the big 3.0-liter six-cylinder petrol power mill is capable of pumping 375 bhp peak power and 500 Nm maximum torque.
These three variants of Mercedes-Benz e-Class are equipped with 48 V mild-hybrid systems as standard fitments. For transmission duty, these three versions of e-class are equipped with nine-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
