The course of MBA or Master of Business Administration mainly focuses on business management. This subject provides specialization in areas such as finance, marketing, human resources and operations management. The duration of this course is two years. After completing your undergraduate degree, you can apply for an MBA. To get admission in some prestigious colleges like IIM or Xavier, you may have to appear for exams like CAT, XAT etc.

MCA stands for Master of Computer Application. The curriculum mainly focuses on topics such as software development, database management, networking and web technology. It is a 2 year course, but can be extended up to 3 years with internship and training. If you want to pursue this degree, you must be a BCA or Computer Science student. Thesis and project work is an essential part of the MCA programme.

  • MCA: Students pursuing MCA can get a salary package between Rs 6-10 LPA.
