Navy war vessel INS Imphal reached Mauritius for the first time

Mauritius National Day: India’s Neberhood Persian Polesi is moving very fast. India has further strengthened its relations with every country in the Indian Ocean region. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been specially invited on the 57th Mauritius National Day celebrations to be held on 12 March 2025. PM Modi will attend as the chief guest. This is the second tour of PM Moda. All these programs are based on India’s ‘Neberhood First’ policy and ‘Sagar i.e. Security and Growth for All in the Region’ approach. Which Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on the occasion of the commissioning of MCGS Bairakuda in Mauritius in 2015 exactly a decade ago. MCGS Bairakuda was the first Indian -made warship to join Mauritius National Coast Guard.

INS Imphal for the first time in Mauritius
Indian Navy ship ‘Imphal’ has reached ‘Imphal’ to participate on National Day. On March 10, 2025, he made his first port call to Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius. This ship will participate in the 57th Mauritius National Day celebrations to be held on March 12. Indian warships and aircraft participate in Mauritius National Day celebrations have been a tradition. In order to continue this tradition, INS Imphal, this ship includes a marching squad, Nausaina’s band and helicopters to fly in the National Day Parade. INS Imphal is the power house of features

Mauritius Navy will practice
From 10 to 14 March, the ship will participate in several trainings and Kalchal Exchanges during its stay in Port Louis. Shared Exclusive Economic Zone will carry out the sermon and exercise. Apart from this, there are cross-training visits, friendly games games and community activities. The purpose of these activities is to strengthen bilateral relations and maritime security cooperation between the two countries.

This tour is special in many ways
This visit of the Prime Minister will also be special in many ways. Rupe and UPI will be launched in Mauritius in this tour itself. This will help in tourism and chicken trips. This will make it easier for Indian tourists to pay in Mauritius and Mauritius tourist in India. Business relations between the two countries will also be encouraged. Looking at the business figures of 2023-24, there was a total trade of $ 851.13 million between the two countries. Many agreements are likely to be signed between the two countries
