Mahant Goswami told that there was a soldier cantonment in the temple premises, where most of the soldiers used to live ill. One day, Sheetla Mata came to the dream of the cantonment and said that if your soldiers worship me in the temple, then they will be cured. Their illness will go away. After this, the captain of the cantonment visited Mata Rani with his soldiers. Prasad made and offered prayers. This incident is quite famous here.
