Maruti Suzuki Celerio hatchback has increased by ₹ 32,500.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio is one of the small hatchbacks selling widely in India. It received a major update in 2021 which included design changes and feature updates. Now, in another major update, hatchback has received six airbags as a standard fitment. Designs and other features are the same, but six airbags as a standard fitment have greatly increased their safety quotient. This upgrade comes as an important in view of the increasing demand for safe cars in India.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio prices increased
Apart from the safety feature update, Maruti Suzuki has also increased the pricing of Celerio. 32,500. Hatchback has become a pricier between now 16,000 and 32,500. With this price amendment, the price of Maruti Suzuki Celerio is now between 5.64 lakhs and 7.37 lakhs (East-Shorroom).
Top-ended version of Celerio, ZXI+ AMT has increased the highest price increase 32,500. The base variant has become previously previously by LXI 27,500. With this price amendment, entry-level LXI MT, ZXI MT, and ZXI+ MT Trims now commanding a premium now Each 27,500 at outgoing prices of the respective variants.
Along with this, the VXI AMT version of Maruti Suzuki Celerio has seen the price increase 21,000, while VXI MT and VXI CNG MT have increased uniform price 16,000 each. Only for ZXI AMT, which is the second top model sitting under the ZXI+ AMT in the lineup of Maruti Suzuki Celerio, the pricing remains unchanged.
Maruti Suzuki has not revealed the cause behind this price increase. However, it can be attributed to rising production costs due to rising raw material prices. Earlier this year, in January, many car manufacturers announced the price hike for their respective models and Maruti Suzuki was no different. Now, this latest price growth comes in the form of another setback for consumers.
