New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki has given a big relief news for the middle class families of the country. The company has reduced the price of all its automatic gearbox cars by Rs 5,000. The price reduction is effective from June 1, 2024.
However, this discount is only on automatic cars and manual cars are not included in it. The company has not disclosed the reason behind the discount, but it is being said that this could be a strategy to increase the sales of automatic cars.
There will be discount on all automatic cars
Currently, Maruti Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, Wagon-R, Swift, Dzire, Baleno, Francox and Ignis are the models that are equipped with AGS (AMT) gearbox. Talking about prices, the most affordable AMT model in the Maruti Suzuki lineup is the Alto K10 VXi, which starts at Rs 5.56 lakh (ex-showroom).
Preparations to bring new edition
Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch the ‘Dream Series’ edition of its entry-level hatchbacks this year, which includes the Alto K10, Celerio and S-Presso. This new limited edition will bring more features to the model and its starting ex-showroom price will be Rs 4.99 lakh.
