‘Many happy Holi’: From PM Modi to Amit Shah, everyone extended warm wishes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media platform X to express his wishes on the occasion of Holi, the festival of colours, which is being celebrated by Indians across the world on Monday, March 25.

PM Modi’s post reads, “Many happy Holi wishes to all the family members of my country.” May this traditional festival of colors full of affection and harmony bring new energy and new enthusiasm in your life.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah greeted people on the festival of colors Holi and wished happiness, prosperity, harmony and new energy in everyone’s life.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also extended warm wishes to the countrymen on the occasion of Holi.

“Wishing you all a very Happy Holi. May this festival of colors infuse happiness, enthusiasm and new energy into your life. Happy Holi!” Rajnath Singh posted from his handle on X.

Earlier on Sunday, the Defense Minister celebrated the festival of colors with the soldiers in Leh. He was also accompanied by Army Chief General Manoj Pandey and General Officer Commanding Fire and Fury Corps Lieutenant General Rashim Bali.

He also spoke on phone to the Commanding Officer posted in Siachen and promised to meet him as soon as possible.

Holi, a festival celebrated with as much enthusiasm in the country as it is abroad, will be celebrated this year on Monday, March 25.

This festival is preceded by a bonfire ritual called Holika Dahan, which symbolizes the burning of the demon Holika.

This festival is dedicated to Lord Krishna, who is believed to have spent a lot of time in a region called Braj in Uttar Pradesh.

It not only reflects the spirit of Holi but also the eternal love of Radha and Krishna.
