Mahindra XEV 9E and BE6 Electric SUVs hit a new high, secured around 31,000 bookings long first day

Mahindra XEV 9E has caught a large part of the total booking, while the 79 kwh battery pack variant has commanded the lion’s share.

Mahindra XEV 9E and B6 have hit a new high with the number of registered bookings on the first day. SUV booking was opened on 14 February. On the first day, two electric SUVs recorded 30,791 bookings, with a booking price 8,472 crore (at pre-showroom price).

Mahindra shares a wide range of XEV 9E and Mahindra 6e to be a wide range of components.

Mahindra XEV 9E sees high demand

Homegron Automobile Giants have also said that XEV 9E has contributed 56 percent to the total booking, while Mahindra 6 has been held responsible for 44 percent booking on the first day. The top-end pack operated by the 79 kwh battery pack, both XEV 9E and BE 6 had 73 percent of the total booking.

Mahindra XEV 9E, 6 delivery to start in March 2025

Mahindra can be valued at 6 18.90 lakhs (pre-showroom) and goes up 26.90 lakhs (East-Shoreroom) while Mahindra XEV 9E starts pricing 21.90 lakhs (pre-showroom) and goes up 30.50 Lakh (East-Shorroom). While booking and test drives for these two electric SUVs have already started in India, delivery will begin in the late March 2025.

Mahindra has announced that the delivery for the pack three variants will start from mid -March 2025, while the packs three select variants will be distributed from June. The pack two will be given from July 2025, while a pack and pack one will be given from August 2025.

Mahindra XEV 9E and 6: Two separate -battery packs

Mahindra 6 and XEV 9E Electric SUV 59 kwh and 79 kwh are available with battery pack options. These battery packs support DC fast charging at a maximum rate of 175 kW, making the battery pack charge from 20 percent to 80 percent in just 20 minutes.

The 59 kwh variant of Mahindra 6 can cover a distance of up to 535 km, while the 79 kwh battery version is claimed to provide a limit of 682 km. In comparison, Mahindra XEV 9E is asked to obtain a range of 542 km and 656 km respectively, with 59 kwh and 79 kwh battery packs respectively.
